WHAT: Help at a large event that generally serve ~250 animals by providing them with free vaccine and microchipping services. We also pass out pet food at these events and provide information on the other services Joybound offers, so it is a great way we give back to the community and help people & pets who need it the most.
WHERE: Pittsburg City Hall 65 Civic Ave, Pittsburg
Volunteer shift always start 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the event and end an hour after the stated end time, though there is a chance people are released early — the shifts are 8am-2pm (but can leave at 12pm if needed) Coffee and donuts are provided to volunteers for breakfast and pizza is ordered for lunch!
To join, fill out this ONE-OFF VOLUNTEER WAIVER which includes a place for them to indicate the name and date of the event they are volunteering for so we know to expect you. Just show up and we will have a temporary uniform & nametag waiting for you and Joybounds Community Solutions Team will train you on the spot.
