Please save the date for our next Downtown Clean-Up in coordination with Sustainable Walnut Creek's Earth Day Celebration at Civic Park. Our event will kick off from the Macy*s Broadway Plaza parking lot (3rd floor). Note that first 3 hours or parking are free. We'll be cleaning Walnut Creek, all the way from Whole Foods to BART. We’ll break up into 7 teams with specific routes so we get it all done in about 90 minutes. And — hot off the press - The Mayor or Walnut Creek Cindy Darling is coming with donuts to kick it off! Here's what you need to know: • Events last 90 minutes. • All are welcome. • Please wear long pants. • Bring a pair of gardening gloves. • We will provide you with a safety vest & trash bags. • Please bring a litter picker if you have one, otherwise we have loaners available.
